All three runners finished in the Top-25 at NCAA Regionals

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Three USF runners – Eva Krchova, Elena Burkard and Jose Madera -- were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region team today, marking the first time in school history USF has placed both male and female runners on the all-region team in the same year.

Krchova and Burkard finished 19^th and 20^th, respectively, at the NCAA West Regional on Saturday setting personal bests in the 6K on the Jefferson Park Golf Course layout. Krchova finished with a time of 20:09.11 while Burkard covered the course in 20:09.23.

USF finished fifth in the event with 151 points, trailing only top-10 programs Oregon, Stanford, Arizona and Washington.

Madera also set a personal best in the men's 10K event, turning in a time of 30:14.48 to finish 24^th pacing the Dons to a 12^th place finish in the team competition.
