MSOC | Five Dons Earn WCC All-Academic Honors

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - USF senior midfielder Leon Schwarzer was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic First Team on Wednesday. The WCC Player of the Year, and international business major, carries a 3.96 GPA and tallied six goals and nine assists for the Dons this season.
 
This is the first time Schwarzer has earned a WCC All-Academic honor, after being named to multiple All-Academic teams while at USC Upstate, including Co-SIDA All-American Third Team.
 
Joining Schwarzer were seniors Kamron Crow and Aaron Lombardi, junior Jordan Hughes and redshirt freshman David Polson, who who all took home honorable mention recognition. Lombardi, an international business major, earned a 3.35 GPA and tied atop the team leaders in assists with nine, while Crow, a business major, earned a 3.85 GPA and made 14 appearances this year.
 
Hughes, a communications major, earned a 3.79 GPA and made 10 appearances. Polson, an accounting major earned a 3.74 GPA while making nine appearances for USF this season.
