CLEVELAND – In the second set of the Learfield Director' Cup standings, the University of San Francisco, buoyed by the Dons' epic fall, finds itself 21
st in the poll with 140 points. USF is the only non-football school in the top 25, and one of just two schools from outside the traditional power-five conferences.
With the completion of the soccer season, the Dons picks up 50 points in the standings from men's soccer who advanced to the second round of NCAA Tournament, following a thrilling 2-1 victory of Cal in Berkeley.
USF already owned 90 points from women's cross country's history runner up finish at the NCAA Championships earlier this fall. In the first poll of the 2017-18 season following the completion of men's and women's cross country,
the Dons were 24th.
