Freshman Lea Meyer turned in a strong performance in the mile race, putting up a mark of 4:51.65 to finish 20th overall. She led for the second half of the race, taking home a decisive win in her heat.

In the 200m, Asaundra Dalton and Lind turned in a pair of strong performances. Dalton finished second in her heat and 15th overall with a time of 25.14. Lind won her heat with a time 25.66 to place 28th overall.

QUOTES:
Head Coach Helen Lehman-Winters
On the performance of the weekend:
"We had some solid performances this weekend, but clearly have a lot of work to do over the next few weeks to put ourselves in a better position going into Husky and MPSF Championships"

On Rowe setting the school record:
"We are really happy with how well Jack raced this evening. He was in a loaded heat and finished ahead of several All-Americans. This was a great test of his fitness and a really solid start to his year"

On Meyer's heat winning performance in the mile:
"Lea ran with poise, confidence and with relative ease to win her heat."

On Dalton's 200m performance:
"Asaundra's 200 was the fastest opener of her career which is promising as it is only January. We expect her to continue to improve a ton over the next couple months."

The Dons will head back to Seattle for the Husky Invitational in two weeks on Feb. 9.
