Meet the new Dons | Samantha Curwood-Wagner

Seventh year head coach Jim Millinder is pleased to announce the addition of what he believes is the best class he's brought to the Hilltop.  Today let's meet Samantha Curwood-Wagner.

Samantha Curwood-Wagner is a 5-7 forward from Redondo Beach, Calif.  Curwood-Wagner attended Redondo Union High school where she played on the soccer team her freshman and sophomore year and was on the honor roll all four years.
 
On the club scene, Curwood-Wagner was a very successful.  She played for Beach FC from 2014-16 before transferring to Beach FC Academy.  While there she helped guide her team to three tournament championships.  She scored the game winning goal in the second overtime in the clubs win at the Manchester City FC Americas Cup.  Her team won the champions division in league and came in second for the league title, they were Region IV Semi-Finalists that year as well.  
 
Curwood-Wagner chose USF because she felt it was a great fit academically and athletically.  She loves the city vibe of San Francisco.  If she could travel anywhere in the world she would visit Europe.  Her plans after graduating are to go to Europe and play professionally
 
Is a big fan of the Marvel Universe Movies. Her favorite television show is "The Walking Dead," and her favorite band is Panic! At the Disco, favorite athlete is Neymar Jr.
