A native of North Hollywood, Leo Vusich played baseball for three seasons for the Dons and graduated with a Bachelor's in Finance in 1965. He was a member of the Block Club.
Bob Joyce is expected to handle the catching chores after hitting .400 in the touch Peninsula Winter League. Left-handed hitting Roy Reitz along with long-ball hitting Leo Vusich will provide most of the punch in the outfield. Soph second-sacker Mike O'Leary and PC transfer Ron Pacenkoph supply the Dons with a smooth double play combination.
Leading off the eighth inning, Don left-fielder Leo Vusich delivered a long triple into the right field corner. Lou Zuardo then singled, scoring Vusich with what proved to be the winning run.
