GENERAL CAPSULE - Experienced and athletic southpaw setter...adds potent mix of international experience while competing with the Hungarian Junior National Team and in the second division of the German League...fluid setting skills and a tenacious work ethic.

PREP/CLUB CAREER - Competed in the European Championships in 2000-2001 for Hungarian Junior National Team... starter on five German champion teams and two runner-up squads during playing career... played on the U-14 German Champion team in 1997, U-16 German Champion team in 1998, was Vize Champion on the U-18 squad in 1998... was elected to the select Berlin team.

MISCELLANEOUS - One-time club teammate of former Don OH Kathrin Kroenig.

PERSONAL - Kristina Bognar... goal for the season is to enjoy life in a different world... biggest sports thrill was competing and winning in her first German Championship in 1997... comes from an athletic family... father played water polo, while mother competed as a gymnast... best advice is to keep an objective eye on yourself... interested in human nature and psychology... parents are Stefan and Katalin Bognar... born March 3, 1983 in Budapest,Hungary.
