A native of Crockett, CA, Crivelli played baseball for the Dons. He was a member of Delta Sigma Pi, the Block Club, and the Redsidence Council. He graduated in Industrial Relations.
Catcher Ron Crivelli (who has hit in six straight Frosh games) and third baseman Dick Sheehan, both walked and then pulled a double steal.
Ron Crivelli, another Varsity catcher, also has made a name for himself, in fact several names. While warming up the pitcher between innings in last Saturday's game with San Diego Navy, frequent heckles floated out of the opposing dugout, such as: "Hey Cyrano", or "Were you ever a stand-in for Pinocchio", or "Do you use a special mask when you catch?" The truth is that the rusty-haired backstop has a proboscis and movements similar to Jimmy Durante. Some people even call him Kalabash. So just call them right or not at all.
Ron Crivelli, the spirited Sophomore, was discovered to have been an excellent track man in his days at St. Vincent's High School, Vallejo. In the century, he was clocked at 10.8 and he was timed at 50.8 in the 440 (TheFoghorn).
