RUNNING. • • The USF women's cross country team participated in the NorPac Cross Country Championships this past Saturday in Fresno.

Eight NorPac schools participated: USF, Cal, Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, Fresno State and Santa Clara. Running in very cold conditions, the Dons tried valiantly but could only manage an eighth place finish. The top five finishers for US and their times: Louise Foti (20:59), Nancy Cullinane (21:07), Regina Berg (21:10), Laura Gallo (21:11), and K.T. Argys (21:19). Oregon won the meet and also had the best runner who was Kim Ruth who finished with a time of 16:47 (USFFoghorn).
