USF's newly-formed girl's tennis team has made itself known in Bay area competition in the last month. March 25th the team made its debut at Mills College with a tie. A week later, March 31st, the team had a decisive victory over the San Francisco Gators. This is quite an impressive record since the team was only formed a month ago. The team under the direction of Miss Geraldine Lauro consists of the following girls: Eva Alminiana, Kate Ames, Chris Bayliss, Margaret Anne Cleek, Kathy Freer, Karen Gee, Gail Marie Happell, Cathy Mimller, Michele Moran, Peg Overendd, Patty Polenskey, Cathy Rester, and Cindy Tracy (USFFoghorn).

Heppell was also a Sportswriter for the Foghorn.
