Others who caught the eye by their playing were Enrico Bianchi, senior fullback behind Cliff Fisk, "Red" Simmons at tackle, Walt Pudoff at quarter. Pudoff's defensive work was great- Grant Hill and Bob Keith, sub- tackles of last season, showed that the tackle situation made vacant by Rice and Miatovich's graduation, will be more than ably taken care of. The boys really have it.

Playing for Ernie Nevers' pro All-Stars will be Al Braga, All-Coast halfback in 1938, Tom (Grunt and Groan) Rice, who was captain and tackle on the '38 squad, and Charley Kremesec. On the other side of the scrimmage line the fans will see our own John L. Sullivan and Enrico Bianchi giving their all for the Pacific Coast Collegians (TheFoghorn).

Al Braga drove over from the 11 yard line on a weak side reverse while Cliff Fisk made his second touchdown of the day by pile-driving through left guard from six yards out.The last score came in spectacular fashion when Art McCaffrey uncorked a perfect strike to Rod Wair in the corner of the end zone. Enrica Bianchi converted for the point (TheDon).
