Charles Torretta was a native of Vallejo and graduated in 1981 in Management Science. He ran cross country and played Intramural Flag football. He was a member of Zeta Beta Tau.Â
Newcomer Chuck Torretta ran a fast fourth for the Don's at 4l:34 and the team's two Tims (Markey and Kenneally) finished next with strong performances. Head coach Gary Lam was pleased with his stallions' performances, a nd especially praised O'Donnell and Massery for their driving efforts. It must be remembered that the entire team consists of fun-seeking walk ons who compete every weekend against nationally recruited scholarship runners (TheFoghorn).
