Returning veterans are: pitchers, Jack Gallagher, Ed Olmo, Dick Lawless, and Lefty Walsh; catchers, Dick Bechelli and John Becker; infielders, Paul Torrente, Len Heinz and George Zucca, last year's most valuable player; outfielders, Joe Arenivar, the team's leading hitter last year, Bob Bayless, and Dick Sanders. Promising prospects are: pitchers: Chuck Falcone and Joe Johnson up from the Frosh; catchers, Bill Ferragario from last year's Frosh, Greg Hadley, All-State from Minnesota, and Leo LaRocca from the 1953 Saint Ignatius Rifle Team (TheFoghorn).
