The twirling situation is really an acute problem. Outside of the trio Garcia, Collins and McCarthy, the question mark, there is nothing to choose from. Jim Rose, Dick Del Antoni, and Lou Dito are on the reserve list but none showing the stuff, as yet, to win. The most promising is Rose, a fast baller with fair control. Dito has been plagued with a bad arm and had been unable to open up and bear down (TheFoghorn).
