The second half proved to be different for USF (4-1,1-0). The turning point came when Kim Silva was substituted into the match at right wing. Her impact came 4:49 into the second half, when she received the ball deep in Pepperdine's third and crossed it to a diving Terbush, who headed the ball into the far post corner. "I needed to get concentrated because I didn't start [the game]," said Silva. "I needed to keep my confidence high. I just got it to [Terbush's] head." Terbush now leads USF in points with three goals and one assist. The Lady Dons capitalized a second time on Silva's play with 11:42 left in the second half, when she again served to the middle, allowing Green to volley a shot past the Pepperdine goalkeeper. Silva now has three assists in the last two games in the midfield for San Francisco (TheFoghorn).
