Other support will come from reserve players: forward Karyn Bolger, guard Diane Schnapp, center Valencia Hedgebeth, guard AmyTouli, center Nataly Barker, forward Kacey Jones, guard Tami Adkins, and forward Robyn King. The Dons only lost one player to graduation last year. Returning from injuries this year are center, Melinda Harrison, who because of injuries last season, only appeared in five games, as well as forward Karyn Bolger who suffered a stress fracture and missed eleven games. She is expected to miss three weeks of practice but is not scheduled to miss any games. The 1988-1989 starters making their return will be guards Alice Solis and Joy Boyenga, forward-guard Ellen Gordon, and center Jody Bulmer. Reserve forward Robyn King, guard Diane Schnapp, and Valencia Hedgebeth, a center from the College of San Mateo will round out the Don squad (TheFoghorn).
