General Capsule - Returns for his senior season and is expected to anchor the club's bullpen as a closer after a nice performance as a junior; brings to the table great leadership and an extremely competitive attitude and worked hard in the Fall and should have control over all three pitches in final collegiate campaign.

AT USF (1998)- Made a huge impact at the Hilltop by earning Honorable Mention All-WCC honors as a junior after transferring from Rancho Santiago CC ... finished with a 6-2 record and five saves, just one shy away of a team-high 24 games... held opposing batters to a conference low .183 batting average during WCC games... notched 60 strikeouts in 57.2 innings... recorded arguably his best performance of the season versus Portland on March 15, throwing a season-high 7.1 innings of relief while allowing no earned runs, just three hits and striking out nine.

AT RANCHO SANTIAGO CC- Completed a two-year record of 17-2 with a 2.45 ERA, including a. 9-0 mark with a 2.78 ERA as a sophomore... twice named Second Team All-Orange Empire Conference.. team won state junior college title both seasons.

PREP CAREER/OTHER BASEBALL EXPERIENCE- A two-time All-Seaview League selection at Corona del Mar High School... finished his prep career with a 10-2 overall record and a 2.20 ERA... MVPO of the Orange County North-South All-Star game... also had a .372 career batting average... graduated in 1995.

PERSONAL- Jeffery David Bowman... born on May 14, 1976... son of Dave and Jane Bowman... biggest sports thrill was winning two junior college state baseball championships.. enjoys surfing and snowboarding... my goal for this season is to win the WCC... the best things about being a student-athlete are the recognition and that raveling... the thing I like most about San Francisco is the diversity of the people.
