Career Highlights: Three-time letter winner under legendary Coach Dante Benedetti; Drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers

Biography: Bullock was a left handed starting pitcher on the Hilltop from 1977-1979. He still ranks fourth all-time for most career starts for the Green and Gold with 42 starts. In fact, his 42 starts ranks him second All-Time for USF for left-handed starting pitchers trailing only Christian Cecilio. He finished his time as a student-athlete with a cumulative 3.28 GPA. Bullock was drafted in the 16th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Los Angeles in the 1979. He played two years in the minor leagues with Lodi in the California League and Salem in the Northwest League.

Why Bullock Chose USF: "Because of the strong academic reputation, in the Bay Area and throughout the country, and of course the scholarship for baseball."

Favorite USF Memories: "Baseball in general has fond memories, at USF we always competed under Coach Benedetti. Coach always provided first class road accommodations and we always were well fed and taken care of. He did so for all of our opponents as well."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: "The intimacy of the USF campus was great to establish great friendships, the athletic events, and the class sizes were all big assets."

Life After USF: After a short professional baseball career, Bullock ventured into the business world and ultimately chose the insurance/financial industry. He has owned his own insurance agency for over 30 years, and has grown his business to 11,000 clients. Many of the parallels that Bullock learned at USF under Coach Benedetti are still used in his business today.
