Albert Henry Braga was born on May 23, 1916 in Crockett, CA and attended his local Crockett High School. At 5' 11", 184 lbs., he played football for USF from 1935 to 1938 and under Coach George Malley, the Dons finished with a 5-2-1 record. He graduated from USF in 1939, with a Bachelor's Degree in History.
He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1939 (11th round, 96th overall). He played halfback for the Oakland Giants (PCFL) in the 1940 season, and for the San Francisco Packers (PCFL) in 1941. He served in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant during World War II, from 1941 to 1956. Afterwards he worked as an Assemble Broker.
He was inducted into the USF Hall of Fame in 1973.
