Juraj Durchslag was born on July 15, 1934 in Kodice, Czechoslovakia. Durchslag was a Holocaust survivor from World War II and relocated to the United States. While attending USF, he played for the Dons Soccer team as a goalkeeper from 1954 to 1956.
Following his career at USF, Durchslag played semi-professionally with Hakoah A.C. in San Francisco. He relocated to Redwood City in 1971 and worked at Edison Brothers, a shoe store chain based in Atlanta, GA until his retirement in 1996.
