Kjell Tvedt was born in Norway and attended USF in the class of 1977. He was a 1975 NCAA National Champion and a 1975 West Coast Intercollegiate Soccer Conference Champion. Tvedt made an assist to teammate Andy Atuegbu who scored the only goal of the second half to win the NCAA National Championship. In 1976 he again was a NCAA champion with a 20-2-3 overall record and 7-1-2 WCISC record under Head Coach Steve Negoesco. In 1977 he was named as a Pacific Soccer Conference Champion with a 25-3-1 overall record and a 5-0-0 PSC record. Tvedt now lives in Norway. 

He was inducted into the USF Hall of Fame in 1992.
