Lester Orville Wisler Jr. was born in Dayton, WA on April 22, 1913. He was a was a member of the Letters Club, and graduated from USF in the class of 1936. He ran track and field for the Dons. His senior year he ran for the Olympic Club Track team against a team composed of Stanford athletes. Wisler and the other Olympic Club team members were reported to be able to run a lap in less that 49 seconds. After graduation, he worked for the National Audit and System Co. in Oakland, CA.
He was inducted into the USF Hall of Fame in 1973.
