The latest episode of "Behind the Mask" is set to debut on Comcast SportsNet California tonight at 8 p.m., anchored by this feature look into senior defender for the San Francisco women's soccer team, Leticia Torres.
 
She has a passion for soccer that began in Italy, grew in Mexico and blossomed in Chile. On the Hilltop, she has continued her development as one of the Dons' key cogs in a year that could turn out to be historic.
 
"The one thing I love about Leti – she's a relentless fighter," extols USF head coach Jim Millinder. "She never gives up. She does whatever it takes. In all essence, she's really a pro."
 
Her time with the Chilean national team has allowed Torres the opportunity to use her strengths to influence the game on the pitch, both internationally at at USF. Above her stellar individual play from the back line, Torres guides and leads her collegiate teammates to form a unified front of drive and passion with the goal to leave a legacy of their own on the storied field at Negoesco Stadium.
 
Along with this vignette, the show highlights women's soccer redshirt freshman Samantha Jehnings as the Rookie of the Month, a British Invasion on the men's cross country course, and the monthly edition of Playmakers.
 
Also featured in the episode is a powerful segment on the military family of Kiara McKibben and the impact that service has had on the junior volleyball players.
 
The show which takes viewers beyond the game in all 15 varsity sports, is slated to re-air on CSNCA Thursday, Oct. 29, at 5:30 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 30, at 8:30 p.m., along with tonight's debut.
