Final Team and Individual Results
STANFORD, Calif. -- USF men's golf team wrapped up play this afternoon at The Goodwin held at Stanford Golf Course, where the Dons finished 21st in the 26-team field.
USF shot a final round 298, its highest of the three-day event, to finish at 881 (+41).
UC Davis finished off an impressive wire-to-wire victory by carding a final round of 278 (-2), which left the Aggies atop the leaderboard at 827 (-13). UNLV finished 10 strokes back at 837 while host Stanford claimed third place at 839 (-1). USC turned in the lowest round of the final day with a 6-under 274 to earn a ninth place finish at 857 (+17).
Luke Vivolo of UC Davis claimed medalist honors with a 10-under score of 200 to earn a one stroke victory over Aaron Wise of Oregon.
Jalen Griffin was the lowest Don on the leader board at 217 (+7), good for 52nd place. Griffin made four birdies on Saturday en route to a final round 73.
Kraig McLeod turned in a final round 74 to finish 75th at 221 (+11).
Sophomore Henry Chung sandwiched a second round 69 in between rounds of 79 and 74 and tied for 82nd at 222 (+12).
Senior Sebastian Crookall-Nixon tied for 112trh place at 227 (+17) following a final round 80 while Max Alcorn closed with a 77 to place 130th at 234 (+24).
The Dons will return to action next week at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic which gets underway on April 4 at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz.
