SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco women's tennis director
Peter Bartlett announced the signing of Rita Colyer to a national letter of intent. The newcomer is set to enroll at USF for the 2018-19 year.
Colyer's tennis resume speaks for itself as far as what she can bring to the Dons roster. She was an International Tennis Federation quarter finalist and semi-finalist. Colyer also was a Provincial doubles champion, as well as a OFFSA doubles champion.
The Canadian native was a top-10 finisher in the county's national rankings.
Off-the-court, Colyer earned academic honors every year of her schooling, from freshman to senior class. In addition to those accolades, she was awarded an English award and a Health Care award.

She has been doing a great job competing this season in a lot of ITF tournaments and can become an impact player for our team going forward. Already she has been logging some positive results in her doubles and singles play. Additionally, she is an outstanding student who excel in the classroom and enjoys challenging learning environments."
