#DayoftheDons Raises Record Amount of Donations

During the Day of the Dons yesterday, USF Athletics brought in numbers that nearly doubled 2016's donations totals. The University of San Francisco athletic department had it's most successful Day of the Dons in the events four-year history. A total of $208,153 was raised in just 24 hours through the generous contributions of 247 donors. In combination with the greater university's fundraising efforts, a record 2,014 donors made gifts to the tune of $760,609, surpassing goals of 1,500 donors and unlocking a $350,000 challenge gift from the USF Board of Trustees.

Compared to 2015's Day of the Dons, fundraising efforts were 12x greater with a difference of $191,658 raised yesterday.
