SAN FRANCISCO — With the perpetuating ascension of both his running and academic careers, transferring to the University of San Francisco for his graduate studies was a natural fit for Kennewick, Wash., native
Andy Snyder.
In this week's spotlight on Andy, featured in the latest episode of USF's cable television show "Behind the Mask," he talks about how his running career began in junior high, following in the footsteps of his older brother. How he rapidly improved during his high school days to gain the attention of – and eventually attend – nearby University of Washington. He also speaks about his graduate study pursuits in Biotechnology – a program USF is highly regarded in, and smack dab in the middle of the world's technology capital, the Bay Area.
