Behind The Mask | Dons Spotlight on Men’s Golf

SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco mem's golf team is the latest program to be featured in this week's episode of USF's cable television show "Behind The Mask."  In this segment you will get to know how the man who runs the program and the players who are looking to get back to the NCAA Regionals for the second consecutive year.   
 
The segment begins with an in depth look at head coach Jack Kennedy.  Kennedy is in his second year at the helm of the golf program. A self-described "players coach" he talks about the program he is building and how he gets players used to competing in an individual sport to buy in as a team.
 
The segment also takes a look at the Dons international flair. USF boasts players from Canada, England, Denmark and Sweden as well as a local player from the Bay Area.  Sophomore Soren Lind talks about the appeal of playing for the Dons and why he chose USF.
 
The Dons will return to action on Thursday when they travel to The Reserve at Spanos Park to participate in the West Coast Conference Championships.
