MGOLF | Tim Widing Set to Make Third NCAA Regional Appearance.

Junior Tim Widing is set to make his third appearance at an NCAA Regional next Monday when he competes as an individual at the Pullman Regional located at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman.

The Course
The par-70, 7,246 yard Palouse Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course in located on campus at Washington State University in Pullman. The course opened for play eleven years ago in 2008 and is the home venue of the Washington State golf teams. Designed by John Harbottle III, the course boats undulating dunes which are "a legacy of the last Ice Age."

About Tim Widing
This is Tim Widing's third regional appearance.  As a freshman he finished tied for 40th with an 11-over 224 (74-81-69) at the Washington Regional located at the Aldarra Golf Cub in Sammamish, Wash.  The following year, he led the Dons team – who placed 13th as a team, by finishing tied for 35th with a 6-over 222 (75-75-72) at the Bryon Texas Regional at the Traditions Golf Club.  Widing, wrapped up a stellar regular season that saw him become the third player in USF history to earn First Team All-WCC honors for a third time.  He led the Dons with an average stroke score of 71.6 in 2018-19 and tallied 16 rounds of par or better with six top-10 finishes this year. The last time out, he finished tied for third at the WCC Championships.
