NORMAN, Okla. – University of San Francisco men's golfer Tim Widing has been named to the Ping All-West Region as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Thursday.  It is the third time in his stellar career that Widing has earned All-Region honors, he took home the honors in 2017 and 2019 following his freshman and junior campaigns.
 
The Ping All-Region team is composed of players from across six regions – Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central, and West.
 
In six tournaments, Widing led the Dons with an average score of 72.3, he also led USF with 11 rounds at par or better, 64 birdies, and three top-10 finishes – including a tournament championship in the season finale at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic.  In that tournament he finished with an astounding 17 birdies and an eagle.
