CATCHING UP WITH COACH RILEY:
"Really happy with the races today. On the men's side, Dan and Ed really put themselves out in the front early and competed well with some of the best guys in the WCC. Ben Preddy made some good progress today and it will be nice to get Caleb and Kip for the conference championships."

"On the women's side, we had a banner day led by Ruby's new course record win in a kick to the finish with Nevada's Tierney Wolfgram. Eve, Zoe, Baneet and Anna all raced with poise and really worked together closing out 1-5 gap. My hat really goes off to our middle distance crew: Abby, Whitney, Maddy and Julia who all had the most complete cross country races of their college careers. I want to thank the Santa Clara staff for putting on this competition and we're looking forward to getting back on the line in a couple weeks at the WCC Championships."

UP NEXT:
The Dons now turn their attention to the WCC Championships on Oct. 29 in Concord, California. The competition will allow the Dons to measure themselves against the rest of the conference heading into the winter months.
