Beginning February 1, 2022, entry into events with more than 500 attendees at War Memorial Gym at the Sobrato Center will require a photo ID, plus proof of up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19 for everyone ages 12 and up.
What is up-to-date vaccination?
Up-to-date Vaccination means you are either:
1. Two weeks past completing the full initial course of vaccines – either two doses of Moderna or Pfizer or one dose of a Johnson & Johnson vaccine AND one week after receiving a booster of any type once a person is eligible for a booster.
2. If you are not eligible to receive the booster, (see below) you are considered up-to-date on vaccination two weeks after completing your initial vaccines according to the San Francisco Department of Public Health guidelines.
Who is considered eligible for the booster shot?
Eligible fans for the booster shot are defined as those who have completed their final doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines at least six months ago, or have had the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago.
If the event you are attending is after six months of the completed two dose Moderna or Pfizer vaccinations or after 2 months of the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you are considered eligible to receive the booster and must have proof of the booster shot to attend the athletic event.
If you are ineligible to receive the booster due to still being within the six month (Pfizer or Moderna) or the two month (Johnson & Johnson) window, you are still considered up-to-date and you may attend athletic contests with proof of vaccination.
Fans under age 12 must have proof of up-to-date vaccination, as defined above, or a negative COVID-19 test. The PCR test must be taken within 2 days of event entry or the antigen test must be taken within 1 day of event entry.
Face Coverings
By university mandate, all visitors at USF events must ear a face covering over their nose and mouth at all times unless actively eating or drinking.

New Entry Gates
Season and Single-Game Ticket Holders:
The new entry gate to War Memorial at the Sobrato Center is on the southwest side of the facility, directly across from the University Center. There will be four vaccination checkpoints. Once your proof vaccination is approved, you will proceed to ticket scanners to be granted admission to the event.
Sobrato Club Members:
Sobrato Club members are granted a private entry gate, where your proof of vaccination will be validated and tickets will be scanned. This gate will be clearly marked near the southwest corner of the building.
USF Students, Team Pass Lists, and Will Call:
USF students receive complimentary admission to Dons games, and may enter the game via their gate at the northwest corner of the building. Student vaccination against COVID-19 will be validated via their One Card. The first 45 students through the northwest gate will receive a lower-level ticket.
Team Pass Lists and Will Call ticket holders will pick up their tickets at the appropriately-marked table inside the northwest gate. Please prepare to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 when securing your ticket.
Day of Game Ticket Sales
In-person ticket sales will open at our portable box office one hour prior to tip-off. This booth will be located on the west side of the driveway that separates War Memorial Gym and the University Center.
To avoid lines and proceed directly to entry gates, you may purchase tickets online for men's basketball and women's basketball games on http://www.usfdons.com/tickets.
