PORTLAND, Ore. — The University of San Francisco women's tennis team was victorious yet again Friday, winning their fourth match in a row, this time on the road at Portland with a dominating 6-1 West Coast Conference win at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center.
 
San Francisco (10-4, 2-1 WCC) took the doubles point with ease thanks to wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. Then, wins in three of the top four singles spots clinched the team victory for USF. The Dons are in the midst of one of their best seasons in recent history, reaching the 10 dual match wins mark Friday for the first time since 2015.
 
Arianna Capogrosso and Rita Colyer got the Dons started with a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles. They would both go on to win their singles matches as well. Coyler's straight-sets win over Marija Elenova (6-2, 6-1) at No. 4 singles was the clinching team point for USF. Capogrosso earned a three-set win over Angela Schuster, 6-2, 1-6, 1-0(7) at the No. 5 spot.
 
Maria Martinez Vaquero swept Neli Sunjic, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 2 singles. Chiho Mushika won her No. 3 singles match in a quick sweep as well, 6-1, 6-1, over Portland's Emily Soares. Martinez Vaquero and Mushika also teamed up for a doubles win at No. 3, beating Annika Alcon and Schuster, 6-4.
 
San Francisco next travels to Gonzaga on Saturday.
