BERKELEY, Calif. -- Returning to action for the second time in as many week's the USF Dons women's tennis team had a positive weekend in the East Bay as they were in action at UC Berkeley for the 2022 California Invite this weekend. 

Leading the way for USF was the tremendous play of sophomore Hana Gamracy as she won her draw while competing in singles as she won four total matches across two days of play to pick up the individual victory. Playing as a doubles pairing, Gamracy and Azaria Hayes were able to pick up a pair of victories as they knocked off teams from UC Davis and Saint Mary's/Gonzaga to reach the semifinals of their draw.

Not to be outdone by Gamracy, the USF doubles pairing of Simran Chhabra and Qianer Qiu dominated their way through doubles play winning three matches across three days to win their draw and take home the doubles championship. 

USF was also in Cary, North Carolina over the weekend as they had Maria Martinez Vaquero and Rita Colyer participating in the 2022 ITA All-American Women's National Championships against the top athletes from across the country.
