SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Hosting a dual tournament for the first time in school history, the University of men's golf team will open their 2022-23 campaign by welcoming programs from around the country for the USF Intercollegiate at Olympic Club on Monday + Tuesday.
The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 am on Monday for the men and an 8:30 am shotgun start for the women. Notably, the women will compete on the Ocean course while the men will compete on the Lake course. Overall, student-athletes will play 36 holes on Monday followed by 18 holes on Tuesday.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- Last year, USF reached the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year as the Dons earned the No. 10 seed in the Columbus Regional last May. Overall, this appearance marked the eighth postseason trip in program history for USF.
- Returning to the roster for his final season in the green and gold, Matthew Anderson is set to lead the charge for the Dons this year as the grad student from Ontario, Canada has competed in the past two postseason events for USF (2021 + 2022 NCAA Tournament). This summer, Anderson impressed by qualifying for the 122nd U.S. Amateur.
- Locked in for the next five years, head coach Jack Kennedy received a contract extension through 2027 this offseason after guiding the Dons to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and an appearance in the 2021 NCAA Championships.
- With four seniors departing last spring, USF will welcome five newcomers to the Hilltop who aim to make an immediate impact: Jakob Melin, Renato Naula, Brian Park, Ben Partridge and Jackson Rothwell.

Spectator Policy:
- Spectators are ALLOWED but only during tournament rounds (Monday & Tuesday) and must be in golf attire
- No spectator carts
- No denim and follow other dress code policies
- No phone calls on the driving range, strict policy so please be mindful
- Food purchasing (Monday - Not available, Tuesday - Hot Dog Bills Hut on course)
