SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The University of San Francisco beach volleyball program officially unveiled their 2023 beach volleyball schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
Highlights of this season's schedule include the season opener at UC Davis on Saturday, Feb. 25 as well as the Malibu Invite where the Dons will face off against Arizona, UAB and North Florida down in Southern California.
USF will be down south in Santa Cruz for the WCC Challenge during the weekend of March 25 + 26 as they will face off against both Pepperdine and Santa Clara that weekend. The team will wrap up their season at the WCC Championships at the end of April in Santa Monica.
"I'm very excited to start the season with this group of athletes," head beach volleyball coach
Emily Cook said. "They put in a lot of hard work in the fall, and we're excited to see how we measure up with a tougher schedule this season."
The Dons boast a revamped roster with 10 new student-athletes on the squad this season thanks in part to a youth infusion as well as the addition of quality transfer students.
"Emily is doing a fantastic job with the beach team and we look forward to her continuing to build our program in line with our culture and vaules," USF head indoor volleyball coach
Diogo Silva said. "Improving our processes will guarantee better results."
