SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Back to work in the City by the Bay, the USF Dons women's tennis team (1-0) picked up the 6-0 victory over Art U on Wednesday afternoon at Bay Club. The Dons made quick work of the Urban Knights as they won the first two doubles matches and swept singles play to pick up the sweep to open the spring duel season.
Rita Colyer and Arianna Caporgrosso led the way for the Dons as the lead duo followed by
Chiho Mushika and
Qianer Qiu winning six straight games to secure USF the doubles point. The Dons continued their strong momentum into singles action as Mushika,
Hana Gamracy,
Caragh Courtney, Hayes and Colyer each picked up individual victories on Wednesday.

The Dons now will hit the road as they head to the Rocky Mountains to face off with the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1:00 p.m. PST.
