FORT WORTH, Tex. -- Returning to action on Saturday afternoon, the USF Dons women's tennis team (1-3) came up short on the road against the TCU Horned Frogs (5-0) by a 6-1 final score at the Bartzen Varsity Courts. 

The Horned Frogs took the initial point on Saturday by winning the first two doubles matches to secure the first point of the duel match.

Arianna Capogrosso had the highlight performance for USF competing in the sixth spot against TCU, as she won her individual match in three sets after dropping the initial game on the road.

CATCHING UP WITH COACH BARTLETT:
"The match was a bit closer than the score would indicate because we were close in both doubles matches. We had a good showing in doubles with Maria Martinez Vaquero and Simran Chhabra putting together good matches. In singles, Arianna Capogrosso had a good match competing in the sixth position and getting the win, while we had good competitive sets from Caragh Courtney. We play ACU tomorrow morning looking to rebound, but overall good competing from our team today."

UP NEXT:
The Dons will be back in action tomorrow morning as they will take on the Abilene Christian Wildcats (4-3) from Fort Worth seeking to get a split on the road trip.
