CATCHING UP WITH COACH BARTLETT:
"Today was a nice battle against Cal Poly as we won the initial doubles point with victories at the number two and three spots. We got the momentum early with the doubles point, and at the singles point it was some battles as well. Big wins from Maria Martinez Vaquero who ended up clinching the match with her win at number one in a three set match. Chiho Mushika at number two also won in the third set, and Azaria Hayes also won in straight sets competing in the sixth spot in our lineup. It was a real big win for us as a nice momentum builder with new doubles partners. We look forward to facing San José State and hosting UC Davis next week."
UP NEXT:
The Dons will be back in action on the road this Friday, Feb. 24 at 12:00 p.m. as they will take on the San José State Spartans (3-4) from the Spartan Tennis Complex.
