SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Back in action to begin the month, the University of San Francisco men's golf team wrapped up play at the R.E.L Lamkin Invitational on Monday and Tuesday with a ninth-place finish at San Diego Country Club.
Starting strong, USF sat in third place as a team with a 286 after the first round, but the Dons ultimately dropped a few spots in the rounds to follow.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
"It was a tough week for us. For whatever reason we could not get any momentum going as a group in rounds 2 and 3. We will learn from this and be back ready to play at Harding Park in a few weeks."
UP NEXT:
USF will have the next few weeks off before returning home to the Bay Area for The Goodwin to close out March. Hosted by Stanford, the tournament is scheduled for Mar. 30-Apr. 1 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. Live results for the tournament will be available via the team's schedule page.
