STANFORD, Calif. - Back in action on the road after playing their first WCC opponent, the University of San Francisco Dons women's tennis team (4-4, 0-1), are set to play against a local non conference team opponent as the Dons will travel to play the Stanford Cardinal (8-2, 2-0) on Wednesday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m. in the Taube Tennis Center.
The Dons fell short in their last outing to start conference play against BYU at home with a final score of 2-5. Leading the singles group with their performances, both Maria Martinez Vaquero and Chiho Mushika secured individual wins to boost their team.
In their series history, the Dons and Cardinal have matched up four times. Leading the score count is Stanford with a record of 4-0. In their last meeting, the Dons were bested with a final score of 7-0 on their home court on Feb. 3, 2022.
