SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Head coach Jack Kennedy and the University of San Francisco men's golf program officially announced their full schedule for the upcoming 2023-24 season on Wednesday afternoon.
 
"We are very excited about our schedule," said Kennedy. "We are once again challenging ourselves against the nation's best on the countries great golf courses. Getting to host a home event at Harding Park with Howard University to start of the year is very special. Our recent success has opened a lot of invitations to events we normally don't play, but we believe this schedule gives us a great chance to be ready for postseason play."
 
Highlighted by the Howard/USF Intercollegiate at TPC Harding Park, San Francisco will compete in twelve tournaments throughout the fall and spring semesters, including the annual West Coast Conference Championship. Notably, the Howard/USF Intercollegiate will mark the second straight year the Dons have hosted a tournament in San Francisco after playing host to the USF Intercollegiate at Olympic Club on Sept. 12 + 13, 2022. Additionally, this event will be co-hosted with Howard University as the focus will be on equity and inclusion within the sport of golf. Fans are welcome and encouraged at the event.
 
Additionally, USF will compete in The Goodwin (hosted by Stanford) and The Prestige (hosted by UC Davis + Stanford) for the third straight year while also participating in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate (hosted by New Mexico) and the Cal Poly Invitational (hosted by Cal Poly) for the second straight year. Notably, the green and gold will also participate in the Mark Simpson Invitational (hosted by Colorado) for the second time in three years.
 
Overall, the Dons will aim to continue their recent success as the Dons have made the NCAA Regionals for three consecutive years. Last year, USF finished fourth overall at the Las Vegas Regional to advance to the NCAA Championships for the second time in three years (2021 + 2023). In Scottsdale, Matthew Anderson went on to finish tied for eleventh overall in the field to earn All-American status as the Dons finished 20^th overall. As a team, USF tallied seven top five finishes in 2022-23, which included a tournament win at the Howard/USF Collegiate Invitational. Individually, Matthew Anderson was named to the All-WCC Men's Golf Team while Jakob Melin and Ben Partridge earned Honorable Mention honors. Additionally, Melin was also named the WCC's Freshman of the Year.
 
Looking at the roster, USF will return Melin, Partridge, Harry Brown, Renato Naula, Brian Park and Jackson Rothwell while adding newcomers Aidan Oliver and Svante Palmgren.
