DALLAS, Texas - Competing in a field of fifteen schools, the University of San Francisco men's golf team saw positive performances from a handful of Dons to begin the week as the green and gold finished in a tie for seventh at the Trinity Forest Golf Invitational at Trinity Forest Golf Club on Tuesday.
 
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

• Starting the tournament off strong, San Francisco finished round one at 8-under as Renato Naula paced the Dons by firing a 67 in his opening round to tie for third. Close behind, Henry Styles was tied for 16^th after day one as he recorded a 69 in his opening round.
• Seeing similar success on day two, the green and gold finished 5-under as a team across the second round, which included Naula remaining in the top ten (T-7^th) at 7-under. Just like Naula, Styles held steady as he was tied for 15^th at 5-under heading into the final day of action.
• Although the team would shoot 2-over as a group across the final round, San Francisco finished the tournament tied for seventh at 11-under-853 (280, 283, 290).
• Individually, Naula was the high man for the Dons as the junior finished 6-under-210 (67, 70, 73) to tie for 19^thplace while Styles was closed behind at 5-under-211 (69, 70, 72) to tie for 23^rd place.
• Closing out the rest of the lineup, Svante Palmgren tied for 37^th at even-par 216 (74, 71, 71), Oscar Bredkjaer tied for 43^rd at 2-over-218 (70, 74, 74) and Brian Park tied for 60^th at 6-over-222 (76, 72, 74).

San Francisco will wrap up their fall schedule with the Leadership and Golf Collegiate Championship in Seaside, Calif. from Oct. 21-23.
