MILLBRAE, Calif. – Highlighted by a Riana Mission second-place finish, the University of San Francisco women's golf team placed fourth with a 57-over-par 909 (305-296-308) at The Silicon Valley Showcase Tuesday afternoon at Green Hills Country Club.
 
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

• Mission earned her third top-five individual finish of the season, leading the Dons with a three-under-par 210 (70-69-71). Mission's two-under-par 69 in the second round of the tournament on Monday marked the fifth time she has scored under 70 in a round this season. She finished with 13 birdies, including 10 in the final two rounds.
• Yvonne Shang climbed up four spots to a tie for 19th on the player leaderboard on the tournament's final day, finishing with a 17-over-par 230 (77-76-77).
• As a team, San Francisco ranked tied for second out of 10 teams in birdies with 30 and was 10-over-par on Par 5's, ranking fifth.

UP NEXT:
San Francisco returns next week, Sunday, Mar. 17 – Tuesday, Mar. 19, when it competes in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational at the Ocean Course Hokulea in Lihue, Hawaii.
