
Cortimiglia, Hoffman Named to WCC All-Academic First Team

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference announced on Tuesday afternoon the recipients of the 2023-24 WCC Men's Tennis All-Academic awards following the conclusion of the regular season this past weekend.
Leading the way for San Francisco, Davide Cortimiglia and Mortiz Hoffmann were named to the WCC All-Academic First Team.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team and in at least their second year at their school.
Recipients are decided upon meeting the following qualifications:

- A minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average (GPA) based on the most recently completed term at the time of the nomination.
- Have at least sophomore athletic and academic standing with at least one year in residence completed at the nominating institution (true freshmen, redshirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers could not be nominated)
- Participate in at least 50 percent of the institution's completed contests
