BREMERTON, Wash. - Hungry for a chance at their fourth straight NCAA Tournament appearance, the University of San Francisco men's golf team heads north to compete in the 2024 West Coast Conference Men's Golf Championships this weekend at Gold Mountain Golf Club.

• Last time out, San Francisco competed in a loaded field at the Thunderbird Collegiate as the Dons battled against seven teams ranked in the top 30 nationally. Leading the way individually, Jakob Melin tied for 43^rd overall at 2-over-215.
• As of Thursday, Apr. 25, USF is currently No. 72 in the Scoreboard Division I Men's Golf Rankings with Melin currently ranked as the highest individual at No. 148.
• Just one year ago, the Dons were in first place after the opening round at Gold Mountain and were five strokes off the lead in second place after the second round. Falling just one stroke short of the team title, San Francisco finished second overall at the 2023 West Coast Conference at 20-under-844. Individually, Matthew Anderson tied for third overall at 8-under-208, Melin tied for eight at 4-under-212 and Partridge placed tenth overall at 2-under-214.
• Most recently, USF impressed by leading the conference with five WCC All-Academic selections: Jakob Melin (First Team), Renato Naula (First Team), Ben Partridge (First Team), Harry Brown (Honorable Mention) and Jackson Rothwell (Honorable Mention).
