Minale and Chaboche Lead Dons at Pre-National Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's cross country teams posted solid performances at the Pre-National Invitational, hosted by Missouri, Friday morning at Gans Creek Cross Country Course.

- On the men's side, San Francisco posted an impressive 16th-place team finish out of 31 competing programs. Luca Minale paced the Dons as he finished in 37th place out of 268 individuals with a time of 23:58.3, breaking his previous-best 8k time of 24:10.2 set at the UC Riverside Invitational.
- Ethan O'Shea followed shortly behind Minale, securing 47th place at 24:04.0. O'Shea nearly registered a new personal best in the 8k, under a minute short of her current best of 23:53.7.
- Faustine Chaboche led the women's team in the 6k, as the program grabbed 20th out of 38 teams. Chaboche led the way with a 36th-place finish out of 339 competitors, with a time of 20:23.6.
- Anna Büttner also impressed in her second-career meet for the Dons, recording a 41st-place finish at 20:31.0.
