SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference (WCC) announced today its Men's Golf All-Academic Team and honorees for the 2025 season.
For San Francisco,
Renato Naula and
Svante Palmgren were selected to the team this season.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to their team and in at least their second year at their school.
Â
This year's 10-member team is comprised of WCC student-athletes who excelled both on the golf course and in the classroom. Along with the 10-member WCC All-Academic Team, eight student-athletes earned WCC All-Academic honorable mention selection.
For Naula, the honor marks the second time in which he has been selected to the WCC All-Academic team while Palmgren earned the honor for the first time. Both are currently pursuing undergraduate degrees in international business as Palmgren finished the fall with a 3.85 GPA while Naula finished the semester with a 3.50 GPA.
