Dons Continue Season at Stanford Invitational and Mike Fanelli Classic

STANFORD/SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's track and field teams continued the outdoor season when it competed in the Stanford Invitational and the Mike Fanelli Classic on Friday and Saturday at Cobb Track and Angell Field and Cox Stadium.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- At the Stanford Invitational, Rae Le Fay recorded the fourth-fastest time in program history in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase, as she secured a 10th-place finish with a time of 10:31.95.
- In the women's 800 meters at the Mike Fanelli Classic, Jessica Spilsbury and Petra Helebrantová posted top-five finishes with Spilsbury placing second at 2:05.42 while Helebrantová finished less than two seconds later in third place with a time of 2:07.35.
- Helebrantová also ran a personal best in the women's 1500 meters, as she earned a first-place overall finish out of 176 competitors with a time of 4:20.07. Her time surpassed her previous best of 4:22.67 set at the Bryan Clay Invitational last season.
- On the men's side, Cole Fiegener set the team's top mark in the men's 800 meters this season, finishing with a time of 1:52.75, seventh fastest all-time in program history.
- Ethan O'Shea paced the program in his first-ever outdoor men's 5000 meters, earning a fourth-place finish at 14:04.15.
