Dons Conclude Year, Finish Seventh at WCC Championship

FAIRFIELD, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (USF) men's golf team wrapped up the year with a spirited performance at the 2026 West Coast Conference (WCC) Men's Golf Championship this weekend, battling hard and finishing seventh overall at Green Valley Country Club.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

Three Dons shot under par (71) in the opening round as San Francisco ranked in the top five as a team after the first 18 holes: Theo Anderson (68), Renato Naula (69), and Nils Svanberg (69).
At the end of day one, Naula had climbed into the top five individually, tying for fifth after the completion of round two at 5-under. Anderson (tied for 13^th) was close behind at 2-under while Svanberg (tied for 16^th) was one stroke behind Anderson at 1-under heading into Saturday.
Naula remained steady across his final round as the senior went on to record his highest finish of the spring by tying for 12^th overall at 3-under-210 (69-68-73). Svanberg also tallied his fourth straight finish in the top 25 individually, tying for 23^rd overall at 2-over-215 (69-72-74).
Anderson (68-72-79) and William Svanström (76-75-68) finished in the middle of the pack as both tied for 40^th overall at 6-over-219. Henry Styles rounded out the lineup for USF, finishing 52^nd overall at 9-over-222 (81-69-72).
Notably, Naula ranked amongst the best in multiple stats in the tournament as he tied for second in Par 5's (-8/4.11 average), total pars (37), and eagles (1). Svanberg also enjoyed noteworthy success, tying for seventh in Par 3's (-1/2.92 average).
Within the team, Anderson led the green and gold with 12 birdies while Svanberg was second with 10. Naula, Svanström, and Styles all finished with nine birdies each.
